Yemenite Jews in Yemen and In Isarel

Two-part lecture about the history of Yemenite Jews in Yemen and their immigration and integration in Israel. Hosted by Skokie Valley Agudath Jacob Congregation.

Thank you all who came yesterday and the week before to hear about the history of Yemenite Jews.
Part 1 was about the lives of Jews in Yemen with an emphasis on Jews and Muslims complex relationship.
Part 2 was about Waves of Yemenite Jews immigration to Palestine/Israel and their integration there.
Although yesterday’s talk rose some painful truths about Yemenite Jews’ integration in Israel, I believe these stories are important to hear and was glad to have the opportunity to share them.
